Our Natural Disaster and Accidents team (We call them fire team) – After working on thunder and lightening, they bring fire safety for us. They first worked on wild fire, as we have dry grass at the campus. They bring safety for us, they tell us how to understand different kinds of fire, how to save ourselves. Currently they are working on house fire. They did fire drill for us. They told us they will buy fire extinguishers, they did find about A and B and C and D type of fire extinguishers. But now they tell us, they will make their own extinguisher. They say, they will experiment with soda and beer to make fire extinguishers. They are also enthusiastic to make their own fire alarm!!! Their favorite punch like is “stop, drop and roll”.
Our Animal safety – They are working on insects. Earlier they found about elephants and snake safety, now they tells us about insects, We are begging then to tell us about monkeys, but they are drenched with insects. Earlier they used to find information from Internet, read books, but now they tell us “why not find ourselves? Why to research of others research, why not make our own research”. They tell us what all insects we have at the campus, how to interact with them, what to do when we see any insect. They find different kinds of insects for us tell us about them. They are making the world of insect approachable for us.
Our First aid team first told us how to use different bandages. Now they tell us how to use toilets (hygiene/k]) and water hygiene and they are also concerned about guest, so they make posters for guest only to know how to take care of toilet hygiene. They take interviews of people, create awareness about how to use band aid. They are also concerned with the rapidly disappearing bandaid.
Our Self Defense team is unique, They tell us “do not get into unnecessary fight, in case of danger RUN!!!. And they ensures we run everyday to build stamina, Their second favourite is “speak in loud voice”, They make us practice everyday to speak in loud voice. Hmmmmmmm they also feel that we need to train our mind to relax, and in case of danger not panic. To ensure we put in practice this mantra every day, they bring self defense exercise everyday for us – its only 10 minutes dose everyday.
