We took an object and used it in different ways than the usual usage and explored possibilities. We could come with many many ideas of using that object in different ways. And that’s where we began our journey of “possibilities” this week.

Doingis acomplexprocess; it involves observing, trying, failing and perhaps succeeding. It invariably generates peer interaction. It requires application of acomplexset of thinking skills. It is non linear and often the learning is not obvious but deep.

Played handball, football, Kabbadi in community sports to explore possibilities within – playing for first time, slow, fast, big, small, girls, boys, uncle, aunty… No barriers to play together.
Food and Maths exploring possibilities beyond textbooks in Aarohi ki Dukaan to explore mass, area, volume and many other aspects of mathematical thinking.
Birding trek withJagadish, a photographer, trekker and naturalist and Chandu, a passionate bird watcher was enriching and to experience the possibilities within nature, nature around us–Dragon fruit, cactus flowers, golden shower, stick insect, wild boar digging, Colours, calls, size, ants and their world, Call of Francolin, Pied Bush Chat, Peacock, Peahen, Common Myna, Red Vented Bulbul, Egret, Common Crow, Rufous Tailed Lark, Kingfisher, Indian Roller, Black Drongo, Bay Backed Shrike, call of Laughing Dove, Hoopoe, Black Kite, Lapwing, Blue Faced Malcova, Chlorosis, Orioal, White brood Bulbul, Copper Smith Barbet, Koel, Ants, Termites and their world…these were some of the words which floated around during the walk.
