I used to wonder what democratic environment is. One can always read about it and transfer knowledge of the same to others. How democratic environment can emerge? What type of environment can give every individual that space to speak? At Aarohi we have thought club, open house and expression time where whole group sits together and shares, expresses, solves problems and so on. It is an experience to be part of such discussions. One can see democracy emerging.
You can see in attached video where facilitator is facilitating children and taking notes of different children’s opinion/thought about a case. This is just glimpse…..day to day masala will be really spicy and when you have company of children (variety of taste) the experience remains unique.
