Aalam joined to share about his novel that he has recently written. He shared his journey – writing, not writing, moments of boredom, editing, taking feedback, including illustrations, and finally publishing. He shared “I did leave in between, when the ideas would just not come in my mind and go back when ideas were flowing”. He advise to “SLEEP a lot, this allows you to dream and dream helps you to describe and write in detail”. Had fun with him at Aarohi, O-campus – listening to him about novel writing and collecting “rocks”. He inspired many of us to write.

About Aalam – “I am 11 yrs old, I started writing at the age of about 9 yrs. Apart from writing I am also very passionate about earthquakes, volcanoes and rocks. I also love to play cricket and am in the school under 14 team. My handwriting was bad and my parents would ask me to practice writing, and I would always ask what to write and my Mom told me to write anything that I wanted, so I started writing a story and in due course had written about 3-4 chapters and when my parents read this they encouraged me to write more. Finally my story was kind of complete and we got the book published.

The book Rovan the Archer is about Rovan who is an 11 yr old boy who is an expert archer who saves the world from aliens, monsters and huge Gorillas who are creating a havoc in the world”.
